At
long last I can finally say that I have typed The End to Clara’s Forever. I was beginning to worry about
finishing it on time because, to be honest, the last month has been insanely
busy
I
am proud to announce that I have a new granddaughter, Cathryn Rae, who is
absolutely adorable with these chubby little cheeks that you just can’t help
but smooch on. My little Clara, the original Clara Mae, recently turned four,
plus, I have three other grandchildren to dote on.
I
just returned from a seven-day cruise a few weeks ago. Yes, I do love cruising.
Call me spoiled, but I love the pampering one gets on a ship, especially in the
spa. For the record, I probably need a twelve step program for I am hopelessly
addicted to facials and pedicures.
Some
people spend their money on port excursions. Not me, nope, I spend my spare
pennies on me. If the truth be told, I spend the majority of my life in my
recliner writing books, so I when I get a chance to go forth and see the world
I am all over it. And the food on a cruise, oh, let’s not even go there, but I
will say that I adore room service!
Okay,
let’s discuss Clara’s Forever for a moment. I totally stepped out of the box
with Book Four in the A Moment in Time series. When you read it you will see what
I mean. Trust me, when I started the book none of the ideas that came about
between the characters were already percolating in my mind, admittedly a place
where peculiar thoughts sometimes tend to germinate. However, as I continued to
write, it was like a natural progression of the storyline and I just went with
it. About halfway through Chapter 16 I was like, “Seriously, is this really
happening?”
It
was.
I
can’t wait to hear your responses so here is the link to Clara’s Forever http://amzn.com/B01EOZYOYO.
Keep
the messages and email coming. I love hearing from you all.
Happy
reading!

Good Afternoon!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Ashley. Starting from book one, Lynna's Rouge, I had fallen in love with the story you were creating. It took me only a week to get through the entire series, during my free time, to complete what was available mid April. I found the book in Kindle Unlimited and I am glad I did! Although, when I reached the part where Jaiden poked her head into Doc's cabin followed by a white feather and finding out it was the end of that book...my fiance can contest that I shouted "No! No! No! I want to know what happens what do I do in the meantime?" In fact, I am certain that I drove him nuts waiting the 10 days required before Clara's Forever was released. As soon as I got paid following the release, I bought. It was last Thursday night with the intention of starting it the next morning. I started it and was instantly happy to find that Jaiden had brought Travis. I read 5 chapters before work and was hooked. After work I came home and just continued to read. Let me tell you though! If my kindle did not die when it did at 3am I would have finished it much sooner than this morning at 11am after I woke up. I will admit I am curious to know if you intend on continuing the story from here. I want to know what happens to Travis, does he die in 50 years as Wren said? Will he get to experience the powers that Scarlett Rose will have as she grows up? I assume yes but my imagination can only do so much justice when the story is yours. What about Wren and Clara? Will you continue the undeniable relationship that should be happening once Travis is happily old and grey? Or will the story stop there and will Scarlett Rose become the new Heroine? What ever you decide this series was a great adventure! I will admit when Clara had not seen any ghosts I suspected a pregnancy...it was a lovely surprise and now I find myself wondering what The Seventh Daughters kid is going to be like. I Look forward to reading further stories from you and I hope that you continue to produce new stories!
Happy Writing!
Hi Ashley. You read the entire series in a week? Wow, you are a fast reader. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. I love hearing that you have read all of my books, as well as the fact that my stories had you so engrossed that you read them all in a week. That is amazing!
DeleteTo answer your question, yes, there will be another book. I'm going to take a few weeks off and then start the fifth book in the series. Then, as you guessed, there will be another series. I have a feeling that Scarlet Rose is going to be a very, very special young lady.
Thank you again for your comment and keep in touch. I love hearing from you!

It may not be that I am a fast reader as more that I get so engrossed in the story! Enjoy your time off! I will read any other books you have out currently until the next release! Cannot wait to get an update on when you start!
DeleteHappy Spring!
Yay!Finally! And a side note....my name is Katherine Raemail! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteOff to read!

Loving the name! I see that you go by Kate, yet another similarity. I have another granddaughter named Cadence and I call her Cate. I always work my grandchildren's names into my books.
ReplyDeleteJoshua Jordan - Joshua is my youngest son and appears on several of my book covers and Jordan is my only grandson.
Jaiden - oldest granddaughter and youngest seventh daughter.
Cadence Suzanne - my granddaughter and namesake for the evil Suzanne. I just liked the name. My sweet Cate is also currently demanding her own series, lol.
Clara Mae - the original.
Cathryn Rae - of course she will be worked into an upcoming book soon.
Thank you, ladies, for reading my books. I hope they take you to another time and place for a few hours. Those are the books that I like to read, ones that absorb me to the point that I feel like I am actually there with the characters and when someone interrupts me I'm like, "Seriously? Right now? You expect me to give you my undivided attention during one of the most pivotal scenes in the book? Go away. I promise I will be there in 30 minutes."
Speaking of which, has anyone read any good books lately. I like to read in my downtime, but I'm not having any luck lately. I've downloaded about 5 books in the last week or so and can't seem to get past the first chapter. If it doesn't grab my attention pretty quickly, or has the same plot that has already been rehashed so many times before, I tend to move on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks again for comments! I love hearing from you.

Kitty-
ReplyDeleteTry The Salt Bride by Lucinda Brandt. It reminds me a lot of your books! I really got into that and it's sequel, Salt Redux.
Thanks, I will look her up now. I love discovering new authors.
DeleteI too zipped through your books and just finished Clara's Forever. I am so glad you will be continuing the series! You asked for a good read. Try Robert Dugoni. He is a mystery writer. I especially like his Tracy Crosswhite series and am currently waiting for bk3. Enjoy! CM Lewis
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm so glad you are enjoying my books. I've added Robert Dugoni to my list of summer reading. I can't wait to be on the beach under a wide umbrella with my toes in the sand and a great book on my Kindle. Summer vacation cannot come soon enough for me!
ReplyDeleteI also flew through this series and actually ended up on your page here hoping that I missed one! One minor note, in the other Clara books you speak of 7th daughter's and 1st sons, but in Forever it is about 8th sons.
ReplyDeleteI'm impatiently waiting for more!
Oh, no. Sorry! Thank you so much for bringing that error to my attention. I will get it corrected as soon as possible. As far as the series, I'm guessing that you read the Lynna series as well? If not, try those to learn about Clara's early years. If you have read them, then hold tight until the fall when Clara's Temptation will be released. I am glad you are enjoying my books and thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to tell me.
ReplyDeleteI have read the Clara series and just finished Forever, had to get some sleep last night but kept waking wanting to finish the book. I am totally immersed into the story line and love the way it ended however I am now anxious to know how Wren is doing and how the years have gone by and what kind of trouble Scarlett Rose is getting into, and if Clara and Travis have more children, also Trista and Will and the
ReplyDeletefamily members. I'm just so in love with these stories! Thank you thank you for the world you have created with these fantastic stories. Please keep writing!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I will try to answer all of your questions in book five. I had a working Sunday. I wrote this morning, then took my grandson out to lunch and to the movies. I am a movie fanatic by the way. Now I'm back at it again and I realized something today. Books are so much better when the character steers the plot instead of the author.
ReplyDeleteAny updates in sight? I just realized read all of your fantastic books and am crazy impatient. Lol.
ReplyDeleteAnd did you check out the Salt Bride?
Reread* I cannot type.
DeleteYes, I do have an update. Clara's Temptation will be released on Christmas day, 2016. I just love holiday release dates for some reason.

ReplyDeleteI have not been able to find this book through Kobo. Is it only available on Amazon
ReplyDeleteFinally got to sit down and read this. Loved it. Wondering if Scarlet Rose is Wrens as she has dark hair like him. Can't wait to read Clara's temptation. Do you have an exact date it's being released?
ReplyDeleteYes, the release date for Clara's Temptation is Christmas day, 2016. Good question. Is Scarlett Rose the daughter of Wren or Travis?
